The flagship
A wooden hut is a building.
We treat it like one.
Most garden structures in Dubai are furniture with a roof — assembled from a catalogue, sealed once, and failing quietly by the second summer. Ours are framed, clad, ventilated and finished as small buildings, because that is the only way timber survives here.

Somewhere to receive people that is not the house. Shaded, quiet, and finished to the standard of the rooms inside.

Changing, storage, shelter from the afternoon. Detailed for water, salt and sun rather than borrowed from an indoor spec.

A study, a studio, a place the household does not reach. Standalone, serviced, and yours.

Four structures, one standard.
Every project starts on paper and is signed off before a board is cut. These are the types we return to most; each one is drawn from scratch to the plot, the aspect and the house it belongs to.

Material study
Timber chosen for the climate, not the catalogue.
Dubai is the hardest place in the world to put wood outdoors: 50-degree summers, salt in the air, irrigation running at the base of everything. The species is a structural decision, so we make it before the design is fixed.
Thermally modified ash
Kiln-treated so the sugars are gone
Nothing left in the cell structure for insects or rot to feed on, and far more dimensionally stable than untreated hardwood. The default for cladding in this climate.
Teak
Naturally oily, silvers with age
The traditional answer to sun and salt. Left unfinished it weathers to a pale grey; oiled, it holds its colour. Specified where the detail is meant to be touched.
Iroko
Dense, stable, structurally honest
Used where a member has to carry load and be seen doing it — beams, posts, exposed rafter tails. Darkens rather than fades.
Western red cedar
Light, quiet, dimensionally calm
Low movement and low weight, which matters for slatted roofs and louvres where a heavy board eventually sags. Kept out of ground contact.
Finish is a separate decision from species: UV-stable, re-coatable, and scheduled for maintenance rather than sold as permanent. Anything described as maintenance-free outdoors in this city is not being described honestly.
How it goes
Five stages. No surprises.
The order matters. Most of what goes wrong in this trade goes wrong because something was built before it was drawn, or drawn before the site was understood.

A private conversation
No site visit, no measurements, no obligation. We listen to what you want the space to do and tell you plainly whether we are the right people for it.

Survey and set-out
We come to the plot. Aspect, prevailing wind, where the afternoon sun actually lands, where the irrigation runs, what the neighbours can see. The design follows the site.
- 03
Drawings you approve
Elevations, sections and a material schedule. You sign off the drawing, not a mood board — so what arrives is what you agreed to.
- 04
Built in Al Quoz
Fabricated in our own factory by our own team. One workshop means one standard and no subcontractor learning your project at your expense.
- 05
Installed and handed over
Delivered, assembled and finished on site with the minimum possible disruption to the household. We leave the plot as we found it.

We do not publish your home. If we ever ask, it is a request you are free to refuse, and refusing changes nothing about how we work for you.
